Josef Leetmaa

Dr Leetmaa is a licensed Physician in Sweden and USA. Board certified in Internal Medicine in the Swedish healthcare system. Worked several years in both hospital and outpatient care, including rural settings. Established in the US since 2018. Florida licensed and board certified in Family Medicine.

Dr Leetmaa completed his Family Medicine residency in June of 2023 after a 12 year career in medicine in Sweden, where he practiced Internal Medicine in a variety of settings: urban and rural. He moved to Gainesville 2020 with his wife and 3 children. Outside work, he enjoys reading, running, road trips with family, hanging out with friends and is active in church.
