Jocelyn is an ANCC board-certified Nurse Practitioner in psychiatry and mental health PMHNP-BC and is certified in perinatal mental health PMH-C. She can assess, diagnose and treat individuals of all ages, providing medication management for a wide range of mental health conditions. She is committed to providing holistic and culturally competent care to her clients and is bilingual able to provide treatment in English and Spanish.

Jocelyns love of medicine and research led her to go into psychiatric nursing. Over the years she has developed an array of skills working as a psychiatric nurse on the dual diagnosis floor at BayRidge Hospital, treating adults with mood disorders and co-occurring substance use disorders and most recently by working as a Nurse Practitioner at Lynn Community Health Center. Jocelyns interests include anxiety disorders, PTSDtrauma, racial trauma, and womens mental health issues.

Prior to becoming a nurse, Jocelyn held a bachelors degree in pre-veterinary medicine and worked as a Veterinary Technician in Boston and Wildlife Researcher in South Africa studying animal behavior. She later earned her bachelors and masters degree in Nursing from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions MGH. She completed her psychiatric clinical internships at; McLean Hospital, North shore Medical Center, and MGH Chelsea.
