Dr is a native of St Louis Miissouri and has a passion for wholistic womens health She attended Medical School at the University of Missouri in Kansas City and her residency in OBGYN was completed at Tulane University School of Medicine She loves empowering women to dare to strive for personal complete balance beginning with the pathway of physical wellness She has shared insights for womens health both nationally and internationally Dr Mathis is excited to have the opportunity to serve the women of Jefferson Parish She is married to Dwayne Mathis of Marrero Louisiana together they have raised five now adult sons
