Israel Sokeye, MD

Dr. Sokeye is a board certified psychiatrist who believes strongly in the importance of treating children with mental health problems, as this helps improve their chances of living more productive and fulfilling lives as adults. However, he is committed to helping individuals of all ages with mental health problems. He completed his medical school at the premier college of medicine, University of Ibadan, Nigeria and his general psychiatry training at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York. He went on to specialize in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Minnesota. Dr Sokeye clinical work consist of consultation to schools, providing care in both partial hospitalization program and outpatient clinic settings. He is an adjunct clinical faculty of psychiatry at the University of Minnesota medical school.
