Ira S. Rubin

Dr. Ira Rubin attended college at New York University and graudated with a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry in 1978. He then continued his education at The University of Chicago, where he graduated with a Ph.D. in Pathology in 1983 and an M.D. in 1984. He then continued his training and completed a residency in Pediatrics at the University of Chicago in 1987. He Joined the Children's Health Center of Waukegan and worked there until 1988. He then moved to Naperville, IL and joined the staff of Naperville Pediatrics. Dr. Rubin has been an active member of the staff at Edward Hospital, serving the hospital and community in many capacities, including past chair of the Department of Pediatrics and founder instructor of Dr. Rubin's Mini Medical School. Dr. Rubin has 2 sons and 4 grandchildren and both of his son's living in Naperville. Jason works at Rubin Foot and Ankle as a Podiatrist and Zachary works at Oakbrook Allergy as a Pediatric Allergist Immunologist.
