Ifeyinwa Ibeanu, DNP

Dr. Ifeyinwa Ibeanu, otherwise known as Dr. Ify, is an enthusiastic, compassionate, established, and highly skilled Family doctor. She began her nursing journey at the University of Maryland School of Nursing where she studied Science in Nursing Practice. After, she earned her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Bowie State University and obtained her Doctorate degree in Nursing Practice DNP at Walden University. Dr. Ify has a particular interest in the care of medically complex adolescents and adults. She also has interest in treating individuals with substance abuse disorders by applying NPPA Buprenorphine Waiver Training and experiences.
Dr. Ify has 14 years of nursing experience along with 7 years of nurse practitioner experience. In addition, she has an in-depth background in diagnosing and managing patients of all ages with medical issues acute and chronic while keeping with recognized policies and protocols. She has extensive knowledge and experience in medical practice and has worked across different areas in healthcare ranging from medical, surgical, infectious, pulmonary disease, dual diagnosis and substance abuse disorder. For the last 14 years, Dr. Ify has been practicing in various medical facilities with a focus in internal medicine and the treatment of substance abuse disorder. She is currently the Medical Director of Trinity Detox and Family Clinic, Inc. In her role as Medical Director, Dr. Ify's objective is to provide complete care to all patients in a respectful and professional manner to foster the well-being of the patients. Dr. Ify lives with her husband and three young adult children in Baltimore, MD.
