Henry Lew, MD

Our team provides individualized physical therapy with consultation from a medical specialist, who is experienced in taking care of musculoskeletal pain of the neck, back, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, ankle, and knee. Dr. Henry Lew is our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation-PMR consultant.

1. From 2000 to 2008, after serving as as Chief Resident at the University of Washington, Dr. Lew was recruited to Stanford as Clinical Assistant Professor, and served as Medical Director of Palo Alto VA's Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center.

2. From 2008 to 2010, he served as Chief of PMR at the Boston VA, and Associate Professor at Harvard.

3. In 2010, Dr. Lew was recruited as Professor at University of Hawaii School of Medicine, where he began promoting innovative online education to support traditional classroom teaching. He has published 150 scientific articles and 5 textbooks, which are used by clinicians in the US and internationally. He is licensed in California, Hawaii, and Taiwan. Dr. Lew is dedicated to medical education, and sees patients by appointment only.
