Gregory G. Harris, MD, MPH

I am a board-certified adult Psychiatrist with a masters in public health and over 30 years of experience in integrated primary care, home care and office-based practice. I currently see patients in a part-time practice. I have advocated for mental health parity actively through organized medicine since residency. I am a Past President of the Massachusetts Psychiatric Society and a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. I currently serve as a Representative on the American Medical Associations Relative Value Update Committee. I am a past Chair of the Committee on RBRVS, Coding and Reimbursement of the American Psychiatric Association's and have served on the Workgroup on Measurement-Based Care. I am on the Massachusetts Medical Societys Committee on the Quality of Medical Practice and a past Chair of the Committee on Interspecialty. I am also a Senior Medical Director for Mental Health at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, where I have worked since 2016. There, I have been the clinical lead for mental health strategy since 2021, striving to make BCBSMA the best health plan for mental health.
