I practice general psychiatry and am able to see adolescents through adults of all ages. I practice holistic psychiatry using modern psychopharmacology balanced by a commitment to individual preventive medicine and a recovery model. I have expertise in mood and anxiety disorders including trauma, ADHD, adjustment to life stressors, and severe mental illnesses such as bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. I am able to diagnose and manage neuro-psychiatric conditions across the lifespan including dementia and Parkinsons related disorders. I am a strong believer in integrated care working as a team with primary care practitioners to consult and assist with supporting smoking cessation, weight loss, management of diabetes, and adherence to treatment in chronic disease. I am experienced in doing third party evaluations such as disability evaluations and forensic psychiatry providing consultation on matters like fitness to proceed, penal responsibility, dangerousness, and child custody matters.
