Eliza Rivera-Mitu

Eliza Rivera-Mitu is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and a Board-Certified Advanced Diabetes Manager. She has been a Nurse Practitioner since 2013, and has been a Registered Nurse since 1993. She is experienced in Primary Care, Family Medicine, Addiction Medicine, Hospice, Cardiology, and Pediatrics.

She has a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, a Master's Degree in Nursing Administration, a Post-Master's Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner Certification, and she is a Certified Health Coach, specializing in weight management, weight loss, and Lifestyle Medicine. She is also currently in a Post-Master's Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at UC Davis with anticipated completion in June 2025.

When not practicing as a Clinician, she teaches as an Adjunct Professor in a couple of Associate's Degree programs, as well as a Family Nurse Practitioner graduate program.

She is a mother to 3 humans and 2 canines, and wife to her husband, who is also a fellow Clinician.
