Elishia Featherston, DNP, APRN, CPNP-PC, PMHS

A Texas native. Dr. Elishia Featherston brings a bit of unabashed Southern hospitality to all her patients. She has a total of 15 years of experience as a Registered Nurse RN and 11 years as a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner CPNP-PC. In addition to primary care she also has a passion for behavioral and mental health and has an additional certification as a Pediatric Mental Health Specialist PMHS. She completed her Bachelors degree at Texas Woman's University in 2002. She then returned and completed her Masters degree at the University of Texas Arlington in 2006. After practicing for some time she completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice DNP degree at the University of Texas Arlington in 2016. She is a member of multiple professional nursing organizations including NAPNAP, TNP, and AANP and stays up-to-date on the latest evidenced based practices.
