Edgar Cruz, MD

I am originally from Mexico. First and foremost I thank God for the many blessing that He has provided for me and my family. I Received my Medical Degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon. God has allowed me to experience different places during my life. I lived in Houston Texas, where I worked for Baylor College of medicine as clinical research assistance in the pulmonary department. I also have lived in Michigan for 13 years where I did my residency in Family Medicine and where I was chief resident during my 3rd year in Henry Ford Hospital. I have been in Clermont, Florida for almost 11 years. I am not new in the community. In October of 2015, God blessed me and I was able to found Cruz Medical Services, a Family Medicine independent clinic. In July 2022 I joined Village Medical in Walgreens but unfortunately that company Closed and left Florida in March of 2024. God has moved tremendously and I am now restructuring and reopening a private independent clinic, Cruz Medical and Wellness Services. I am 100 Bilingual in English and Spanish. I am a Christian Physician who understands that healing is the balance between body, mind and Spirit. My practice is a small, but efficient office where me and my family will provide excellent , evidence based care for you and your whole family.
