Dr Maurice Gelia, DPM

I was born and raised in Western New York, attending Bishop Neumann high school and Canisius College. Following graduation from college I attended the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine now affiliated with and part of the Kent State University campus in Ohio. I did my residency training in comprehensive foot surgery in St. Louis, Missouri. Following my residency I returned home to open up a private practice and to raise my family. I have also been and the active the surgical staff at the VA Medical Center here in Buffalo, New York. Taking care of our veterans, both past and present is in extreme honor. I truly enjoy what I do and it is extremely gratifying to make a change in people's lives that allow them to better their health and activity level. Often I am able to alleviate my patient's pain the same-day as they are seen. In my practice and at my office location we strive to make our patient's not only comfortable while they are waiting to be seen, but to put a smile on their face as they both enter and leave the office.
