Denis Mee-Lee, MD

Dr Mee-Lee has practiced outpatient and inpatient adult psychiatry for 50 years. He was Hawaii State Mental Health Chief for 10 years, and founded and directed Castle Medical Center's behavioral health services for 12 years. He has founded four hospital psychiatric departments and been principal investigator for over 300 clinical research studies on new psychiatric medications. He is currently Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, University of Hawaii, Medical Director, Behavioral Health Services, Adventist Health Castle, Principal Investigator, Valden Medical, and sits on several boards and commissions mostly for advocacy and community agencies. He lectures and consults on various psychiatric and legal subjects, and treats adults with a range of psychiatric and substance abuse issues.
