Dr. Modi has completed 3 years of Internal Medicine Residency,1 year of Chief Residency and 3 years of advanced gastroenterology training at St. Joseph Hospital in Paterson, and Saint Michaels Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Dr. Modi had extensive experience in basic endoscopic procedures as well as advanced procedures such as therapeutic ERCP, capsule endoscopies and endoscopic ultrasound. His areas of interest include screening and staging for various GI malignancies, Barretts diagnosis and ablation, inflammatory bowel disease management, irritable bowel syndrome, chronic liver disease and pre-liver transplant evaluation.
