Cassandra D. Whitaker, MD

Drs. Lee and Cassandra Whitaker are a husband and wife physician team.
Dr. Cassandra Whitaker received her Doctorate of Medicine degree from the
University of South Alabama. Upon completion of medical school, Dr. Whitaker was commissioned as a Captain in the United States Army and completed her residency training at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C. She was promoted to Major and received the Meritorious Service Award for outstanding patient care. In addition to general obstetric and gynecologic services, she provides services in prenatal and gynecological care. She gives special attention to counseling and treatment for heavy and irregular menstrual bleeding, fibroids, birth control, urinary incontinence, abnormal pap smears and menopause.
Dr. Lee Whitaker received his Doctorate of Medicine degree from Boston University, and he earned a Masters Degree in Public Health from Harvard University. Dr. Whitaker graduated from Loma Linda University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Ministerial Studies. He holds the distinct honor of having served as personal physician to Nelson Mandela. He sees patients age 18 years and older. In addition to routine annuals and physicals, he provides special services including men's health,screenings for diabetes and hypertension, high cholesterol; prostate, breast and cervical
cancer; STD counseling, laceration repair, and education in disease prevention.
