Dr Messer is a Yale and Mount Sinai trained endocrinologist committed to providing superb care in a warm and stress free environment She is board certified in Internal Medicine Physician Nutrition and Endocrinology Diabetes and Metabolism

Dr Messer is also certified in Clinical Densitometry and Endocrine Neck Ultrasound ECNU

Dr Messer is actively engaged in clinical research and is a frequent guest lecturer to other physicians on topics such as thyroid disease osteoporosis polycystic ovary syndrome and diabetes She has appeared on Fox News NBC CBS and WPIX has given interviews on various radio stations and has authored numerous articles

Dr Messer has been named by her peers to Super Doctors Rising Stars in 2013 2014 and 2016 in The New York Times Magazine She was recently named by her peers to Super Doctors 2017 in the New York Times Magazine

She also a clinical assistant professor at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and an assistant professor at Hofstra School of Medicine
