I come from a dying breed of doctors and if I had it my way I would still travel house to house with my little black bag. Even though I can no longer do that I practice personalized medicine at my own private practice where I set patient care standards. I practice western medicine, but am conservative with treatment and don't just put people on medications without exhausting other treatment options. My practice model is all about the individual and not just treating someone as a number. I have been practicing in Boulder since 1984 and opened my own independent practice in 1998. I spend time with my patients and usually am face to face for 30-60 minutes to make sure things are understood and so I can truly listen to the patients concerns. I love being a doctor and could never picture doing anything else.
