My goal is for patients to chose the least invasive, most effective treatment for their neurological and spinal conditions. Treatments should be tailored to the individual person, not the other way around. Many conditions of the neck, back, and head can be treated without surgery. In some cases, surgery is the best option. I work together with patients and their families to find solutions that work best for their individual situations.

I have maintained a general neurosurgical practice in Baltimore since 1997. From 2012 until 2016, I also worked as a staff neurosurgeon at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, providing neurosurgical care to soldiers, their families, and our veterans.
