Bashkim Kadriu

I completed my Psychiatry Residency and Fellowship training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City and at the National Institute of Mental Health, Bethesda. My special interests are psychopharmacology and treatment resistant mood disorders.
Over the years of clinical practice and academic career I received numerous awards for exceptional clinical care and academic work. I am licensed physician in the State of Maryland and board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology ABPN.
My practice focuses in the evaluation and treatment of depression, bipolar disorder, general anxiety disorders, posttraumatic stress disorders PTSD, ADHD and other adjustment and stress related disorders. I provide medication management and individual psychotherapy.
My treatment approach is individual centered uniquely and collaboratively created with the patient via a thorough understanding of life experience, symptoms, needs and goals. It aims on improving patients mental health and overall sense of wellbeing and help them on their way to recovery.
