Asmir Syed

Dr Syed grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and completed his high school education at St Edward HS. He then attended Case Western Reserve University where he completed a major in Chemistry earning Deans List honors. After his medical school at Kasturba Medical College IUHS where he completed acting internships at Case Western Reserve Univeristy and rotations at St Johns Westshore Hospital, he completed an Internal Medicine Residency at The Chicago Medical School. He was chosen as a Chief Resident, an honor given to the best resident selected by his peers and faculty. After completing a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease in Alabama, he then finished his Interventional Cardiology at the Georgetown University Washington Hospital Center Program where he trained in Coronary and Peripheral Interventions. He has published extensive research in numerous peer review journals and presented oral presentations at the American College of Cardiology. He is also a member of numerous educational committees and organizations. He has privileges at most regional hospitals in the area.
