Andy Bernstein, MD

Dr. Bernstein received his B.A. from Oberlin College, is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Madison Medical School, and completed post-graduate training at Childrens Memorial Hospital in Chicago, now the Lurie Childrens Hospital of Chicago. Board Certified in Pediatrics, Dr. Andy is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Northwestern University Medical School, a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and an attending physician at Ann and Robert H. Lurie Childrens Hospital of Chicago, Evanston Hospital, and Northwest Community Hospital. He is also a Spokesperson for the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Andy lives with his children and pets in Evanston and plays various instruments including bass guitar. His favorite part of his job is preventing and treating serious illness while adding joy and laughter to childrens lives. He truly values working with families and being a part of their lives as their children grow. Dr. Bernstein has been with North Suburban Pediatrics since 2001.
