Amanda Iris Chaconas graduated from Northern Arizona University for her Bachelors of Science in nursing and was awarded the Compassion award by her colleagues. She went on to graduate from Johns Hopkins School of Nursing with a doctorate in Gerontology primary care, where she and the caRING award for lasting impact when in school. Iris is certified as a neuroscience nurse and in multiple sclerosis; she currently serves on the communication board with the International Organization for Multiple Sclerosis Nurses. A long time Flagstaffian, Iris is thrilled to grow her family in her hometown and serve the community of Northern Arizona. Iris provides General Neurology care for most neurological conditions, including: Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, Movement disorders, Myesthenia gravis, Dystonia, Traumatic brain injury, Post stroke management, Post neurological surgery management, Peripheral nerve syndromes, Peripheral neuropathy, Neuritis and Neuralgia.
