Lucinda Motley, FNP-C

Lucinda Motley is a family nurse practitioner certified and a native of Jackson, Tennessee who has called Smyrna home for the last 20 years. Here, she raises her three very active children ages 24, 18, and 15. She stays very involved in her children's schools and extracurricular activities, which give a unique connection to the community where she also practices.



On May 15, 1993, Lucinda graduated from the University of Iowa College of Nursing with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She immediately began practicing as a registered nurse in Iowa City. Additionally, she came to Middle Tennessee by way of Phoenix, Arizona and brought her extensive hospital experience with her.



Upon settling in the Nashville, Tennessee area in 1998, she began working at St. Thomas West Hospital and spent the last 11 years of her registered nurse career in the emergency department.

In the fall of 2005, Lucinda made the decision to pursue her Master of Science in NursingFamily Nurse Practitioner at Middle Tennessee State University. After completing the program, she began practicing in the SmyrnaLa Vergne area in Tennessee. After 10 years of caring for families in the area, she decided to venture out and start her own practice, where her family can provide care for yours.
