Husam Alathari, MD,FAPA

Dr. Alathari is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Board of Addiction Medicine. He is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at George Washington Unviersity Medical Center. Dr. Alathari has over 15 years experience in serving clients with psychiatric disorders and substance abuse disorders. He is currently the outpatient medical director of the Inova Comprehensive Addiction Treatment Services and the Fairfax Methadone Treatment Center. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the American Society of Addiction Medicine and the International Society of Addiction Medicine.
