William Lao

William Lao, M.D. is a USA trained plastic surgeon who specializes in cosmetic surgeries of the face and the body. Dr. Lao has patients internationally from all ethnicities due to his understanding of cultural ideals and customized surgical approach.

Dr. Lao grew up in Taipei, Taiwan. He spent his high school years in Vancouver, Canada where he graduated first in his class and matriculated at The Johns Hopkins University in the United States.

He earned his bachelors degree double majored in Biomedical Engineering and Computer Science and later earned his Doctorate of Medicine degree M.D. both from The Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Lao then completed six years of integrated residency training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin. After residency, he completed the most sought out aesthetic surgery fellowship in Manhattan, New York under the guidance of Dr. Sherrell J. Aston.

He is licensed in both the United States and in Taiwan and double boarded in Plastic Surgery in both countries. After years of practicing as the Attending Physician in the Department of Plastic Surgery in Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taipei, he returned to Manhattan New York to start his own private practice.
