Scott Lamprecht, APRN, FNP-BC, RN

Dr. Scott Lamprecht, APRN, FNP-BC, RN has been in healthcare for thirty-six years with 31 years as a Registered Nurse RN. His primary area of practice has been in Critical Care including Emergency Services and Transport, Intensive Care, Cardiac Care, and CardiologyStress Testing. Scott began working in academia in 2005, and completed a Masters of Science in Nursing MSN and Doctorate of Nursing Practice DNP. During this period, Scott was elected Chair of the American Heart Associations Regional Faculty Working Group, The Nevada Emergency Cardiovascular Care State Committee and recently the Nevada Ebola Taskforce. In 2011, he was elected to the Nevada Nurses Association NNA State Board, became the NNA President in 2012 and re-elected in 2014.
Currently, Scott is the President and Chief Clinical Officer for Wellness and Education Centers of Nevada WECN in Henderson, Nevada. While completing his MSN and DNP, Scott developed a Pre-participation Sports Physical screening program to find adolescents with risk factors for Sudden Cardiac Arrest SCA. Locally over 300 adolescents have been screened with fifteen referred for additional testing andor intervention. Scott has been to both Washington, DC and Carson City, Nevada to meet with policy makers regarding cardiovascular and other health related issues.
In 2012, Scott opened the first independent Family Nurse Practitioner clinic in Nevada. Since that time Scott has been named to Las Vegas Top Docs five years in a row.
