Wendy Wood Neeson

Wendy Wood Neeson is a Family Nurse Practitioner Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Wendy Completed her A.A.S. degree in nursing from Sheridan College in 1999. She then completed her Bachelor of Science degree in 2001 and Master of Science degree in 2005 from the University of Wyoming. Additional training includes a Certificate of Completion as a Surgical First Assistant from the Community College of Southern Nevada in 2007.
Wendy has worked in many specialty areas throughout her career. School nursing, pediatrics, and labor and delivery were all specialties Wendy worked in as a Registered Nurse. Since becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2005, Wendy has worked in the areas of general and vascular surgery with Big Horn Surgical, Women's Health with Reproductive Healthcare of the Big Horn's, Emergency Medicine at Big Horn County Memorial Hospital in Hardin, Montana; Urgent Care in Sheridan, and Internal Medicine with Strahan and Associates. Additional training and experience has been obtained in Aesthetics Botox, Dermal Fillers, Sclerotherapy and Occupational Health.
Wendy is passionate about nursing and outside of the clinical area. Wendy is a Board Member of Wyoming State Board of Nursing, Adjunct Faculty for the University of Wyoming School of Nursing . Wendy is an experienced public speaker and has presented lectures at the American College of Nurse Practitioners National Convention, FAB Conference, Sheridan College, and many other local venues. In addition to her passion for her profession, Wendy has volunteered for many local organizations. A past 4-H leader, member of Sheridan County Cowgirls Association, Sheridan County Rodeo Association, Sheridan County Fair board and the Miss Wyoming Scholarship Program State Board.
Wendy enjoys yoga, baking, learning about history. Wendy and her husband George have blended their families and together have five children Savanna, Madison, Cade, Bode, and Gage. Together they spend time hiking and exploring in the Big Horn Mountains, riding horses, traveling, and enjoying the gift of family.
